There is a central parking area with a ranger station and comfort station. Each site has a fire pit with grill and a picnic table. Most have room for two 4 person tents and a tarp.

A magical place in mid western Massachusetts, this campground is nestled in a man made lake of the same name. About one half of the campsites are on the water, and the one I chose is actually an island with a small bridge connecting it to the mainland.

Great waterfront campsites. Reservoir and river are perfect for kayaking, canoeing, fishing and swimming. Don't miss Doane's falls.

Across the lake is a boat launch with a picnic area, playground and volleyball court. There is also an 18 basket disc golf course near the launch. Motors are limited to

Cannot park at campsite so have to bring all your gear in over rustic trails in a wheelbarrow. One bathhouse for all 32 sites.

Stayed over the weekend, camp was clean and everything you would expect a good campground to be.

There is good and not so good with this campground. But all in all I think the good outweighs the bad. Really pay attention to what site you choose, some are not so good. Get one on the water. The lake is great for fishing and boating. The campgrounds are quite, due to the fact that cars cannot drive up to the sites. Yes you need to carry your gear and everything from the parking area to your site. This can be long and tiresome if you have a site far back, which are the better ones. They have large wheelbarrows to use. Wood is 10 bucks for a small stack, but it's dry and cut. I'd go back.
